Before you send it

What sources well, and what doesn't

Factory sourcing saves the most on standard items bought in volume. We'll tell you up front if yours isn't a fit.

Good fit

  • Used on every project or reordered often
  • Standard sizes and specs
  • Durable goods that don't expire
  • Bought by the case, carton or bundle
  • Spec allows "or equal"

Not a fit

  • Same-day or emergency parts
  • One brand only, no substitutes
  • Listed items without a certificate we can show you
  • Single pieces where freight eats the savings
How it works

From spec to delivery

  1. 1

    Send the spec

Spec sheet, submittal or invoice, plus quantity per project.

  2. 2

    Strong manufacturer relationships

We work directly with manufacturers we know and trust. Duties and freight are checked before we quote.

  3. 3

    Pricing, then sample

Our pricing next to your current cost, with lead time. A sample first when the factory provides one.

  4. 4

    Order on approval

We place the factory order against your PO. Yard or job-site delivery, or will-call pickup in Argyle.

Questions

Before you order

How long do factory orders take?

Usually 6 to 12 weeks door to door, depending on the product and ocean freight. Every quote states its lead time, so you can plan the order ahead of when you need it.

Is there a minimum order?

Factory orders have minimums, often a carton, bundle or pallet. The minimum is on the quote, and where it helps we combine your order with other contractors ordering the same item.

Do you keep stock?

No. We order from the factory for your quote, which is how the price comes in lower.

Can you match a specific brand?

We quote equivalents built to the same spec: size, thread, material and rating. If your job spec names one brand with no substitutes, we'll say so instead of quoting something that won't pass.

Do you charge sales tax?

Texas sales tax applies unless you give us a Texas resale or exemption certificate.
